The first that needs to be highlighted is its compatibility with the operative systems of 64 bits, even that this same version is also available for the operative systems of 32 bits in the author's website.
VLC Media Player 2 includes a complete support for playing disks in Blu-ray besides other improvements as:
- It has been improved the performance for the subtitles, even that the actual system of synchronization works really good.
- Even that VLC does not need additional downloads of the codecs and it is capable of playing almost all kind of formats, its compatibility with the formats: SID, WMV, WMVP and WVP2 has also been improved.
Actually, if your do not use Blu-ray disks, the actual version is more than enough for all the lovers of videos and cinema and more if we take into account the warning of that the author has in his website: VLC Media Player 2 is a version in development and, thus, it is quite instable so some of the functions cannot work. There is absolutely any support for than from the computer of VideoLAN.

THERE ARE FUNCTIONALITIES THAT CAN NOT OVERCOME, EVERY TIME "UPDATE", DISCARD SOME THING THAT MAKES THE PROGRAM DOES NOT WORK WELL, IT IS GOOD TO PROGRESS BUT NOT IN DEMAND THAT WORKS WORSE, I HAVE PASSED THAT UPDATING THE NEW PROGRAM DOES NOT RESPOND AS WELL AS BEFORE THE 2, SO BE CAREFUL AND SEE WHAT THEY DO.

I use it to listen to music and especially to see movies, it is very versatile and allows download subtitles, add them while you watch the movie, you can change the size and color, also, if outdated, can synchronize with the time of the film, wonder...
The best: With each and every one, and easy to use.
The worst: Just looking at one minute, you know where the commands are as used. Simple and functional

Bad, it does not improve or replace anything that my pc with w11 has as standard, so it is truly absurd to install this player. I wanted it as an alternative to the harmful and spying Quicktime Player, but it's not even good for that.

unfortunately I do not think you can arrange for snapshots to be taken were of better quality, but I understand that it has to do with the resolution of movies or videos. What it would be good to display information of video resolution.
The best: It captures the frames and the possibility that if the video is good resolution photo will also be very good.
The worst: in some ways the negative is to configure it with all your tools, this means especially confusing for them under screen in place that we want, it is possible but after a long process of learning.

pretty good, even better than the version included by default, have w7 w7 starter and professional on both machines they have installed VLC and I am satisfied with the results.
The best: Easy to use, install, intuitive its interface drop me a multitude of "little programs" that promised to remove track in Spanish of a player and does not work for me, besides that were confusing instructions were also littered with trash that I sometimes complicated to remove. With me VLC is so easy to press the record button and go! It appears on the recording destination folder in Spanish without any problems!
The worst: I turned to nothing complicated, and I must say that I am a user of 45 who have never had deep study on computer issues, so ... amlpia and happily recommend!
