Tor

Tor is a set of tools for all those people or companies who want to improve the security of Internet. Using Tor can help them making the navigation completely anonymous and the web publishing, in the instant messaging, IRC, SSH and other apps that use the TCP protocol. Tor also offers a platform in which developers of programs will be able to build new apps that include anonymous characteristics, security and privacy.    

Tor has the purpose to be used as a defense against the analysis of the traffic, a way of surveillance that threats the freedom of anonymous navigation and the personal privacy, the confidentiality in the business and the security of the State.    Communications are transmitted through a network of servers called routers, which protect users from websites that create profiles with your interests, spy your data and that learn which places you visit.

The security of Tor gets improved as the user's database grows and it increases the number of volunteers that include servers. It could be good if you could consider collaborating with your time and with your broadband. You have to bear in mind that it is a code in development so, if you really need be anonymous, it is not a good idea to use only Tor in the state in which it is now.
