Icecream PDF Split and Merge is a free and fast functioning software program with user-friendly interface for easy splitting and merging of PDF files.
Software supports splitting PDF files in 4 different modes: into single-paged files, by groups of pages, deleting pages and by page ranges. To delete unneeded pages from a document, users should only insert their numbers one by one. Splitting by page ranges is also very simple:
– just insert the beginning and ending pages of new intervals to be detached from the document and they will be saved as separate files.
Merging files is very simple:
- just add all the PDF documents to be united and press a button to start. Managing of the position of files in a list to be merges is easily adjusted.
Program supports drag and drop mechanism which allows you to add files to work with and also change the position of the files in a queue to be merged.
While splitting and merging of PDF documents, their formatting remain unchanged. There are no limits in number of pages of files or of amount of files to me merged together. Icecream Split and Merge also supports working with password-protected PDF files (inserting correct password is required).

Restrictions
Password protection and editing Publisher name for merged files is not available in Free version. Only 3 documents are allowed to be merged at once in Free version. Only first 40 pages of the PDF are affected during splitting in Free version.
