Clonezilla Livehas been created since 2004 and it is used to clone several computers at once. In spite of being a very useful application it has some limitations: to be used first you have to prepare a DRBL server and you should log in from a network. That is why since 2007, Debian has joined to create Live, software which is used to clone computers. With this, it is no longer necessary for the computer to log in from a network, and you can do the cloning with a CD / DVD or USB.
To install Clonezilla Live the basic steps are downloading the program, putting it on a USB flash, CD or an external hard drive. There are two types of files available, one ZIP and other ISO.
To clone the equipment to a DVD / CD: download an ISO file to DVD / CD, then you can copy it to this format with any program. The CD which contains the file can be used to start the computer that you want to clone.
The procedure to clone it with an USB flash is the same but using a ZIP file.
